I realize that the keyboard for a macbook pro 15' mid-2009 model isn't sold by apple individually but as part of the top cover. My son spilled some sprite on our mbp and I took it apart and cleaned it, but some of the keyboard keys are acting up. I soaked the keyboard in distilled water and baked it a low temp to evaporate the water, but I may have damaged something. 
A place out of China on ebay is selling a 'NEW KEYBOARD FOR APPLE MACBOOK PRO 470 US 15.4'. The MB470LL/A is a late 2008 model, while my model is a MC118LL/A. Do they both use the same keyboard.
